Agent, Asset Protection

Responsibilities

• Execute asset protection initiatives and shortage reduction programs across assigned NYC store locations
• Provide in-person and remote support to local store management to meet strategic objectives
• Conduct routine AP and physical security audits, including operational audits for health, safety, and compliance
• Perform surveillance using CCTV and floor techniques to deter and apprehend theft in accordance with company policy
• Initiate and support investigations related to internal loss and Organized Retail Crime (ORC)
• Partner with local law enforcement, mall security, and peer retailers to manage external threats
• Prepare detailed case reports and represent the company in court proceedings related to external cases
• Optimize inventory accuracy through management of physical inventories and OMNI compliance
• Participate in store associate training regarding approved asset protection procedures

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Asset Protection or a relevant retail setting
• Ability to work nights, evenings, and weekends based on business needs
• Reliable means of transportation for travel between store locations
• Ability to fulfill physical requirements, including standing and walking for extended periods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make timely decisions based on company apprehension guidelines
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-year degree
