Agency CMO Trader/Structurer AVP

Responsibilities

• Execute buy and sell orders and price liquidity in various financial instruments while adhering to trading strategies and risk parameters
• Manage and monitor risk associated with the trading portfolio to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines
• Monitor global financial markets, economic indicators, and geopolitical events to identify trading opportunities
• Support daily market-making and hedging activities for Agency MBS and related instruments
• Collaborate with research, sales, and technology teams to enhance trading analytics and infrastructure
• Perform daily P&L preparation, reconciliation, and risk reporting

Requirements

• Expertise in Agency MBS products, including TBA, specified pools, and CMO structures
• Strong understanding of market-making, hedging strategies, and portfolio risk management
• Proficiency in P&L preparation and risk reporting
• Ability to conduct prepayment analysis and mortgage relative value assessments
• Experience collaborating with modeling, research, and technology teams
