About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform legal work involving investigation and prosecution of misconduct by uniformed NYPD employees
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
- Review investigative files thoroughly
- Present memoranda to Executive Staff for final determination and adjudication
Requirements
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- One year of satisfactory United States legal experience subsequent to admission to any state bar, or six months of service as an Agency Attorney Interne
- Must remain a Member of the New York State Bar in good standing
