Aged Care Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, respectful, and person-centered care to elderly residents
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and medication reminders as directed
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional conditions and report any changes to the supervising nurse or care team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Assist residents in participating in social and recreational activities
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Follow care plans, workplace safety standards, and infection control procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care activities

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or relevant healthcare background
• Minimum 1 year of experience in aged or disability care
• Willingness to undertake aged care training or certification
• Willingness to achieve IELTS Academic (target 6.0–7.0) or equivalent
• Ability to provide academic transcripts, training records, and employment certificates
• Willingness to complete medical, vaccination, and background checks
• Strong motivation to work in elderly care and support vulnerable populations
• Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented mindset
