About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide domestic assistance including light house cleaning and meal preparation
- Deliver personal care such as showering, daily hygiene, and monitoring health and wellbeing
- Facilitate community access to medical appointments and social activities
- Support clients with daily tasks and routines
- Build positive relationships with clients and their families
Requirements
- Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle
- Minimum third-party vehicle insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Ability to pass a National Criminal History Record Check and Aged Care Statutory Declaration
- Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting the ageing community
- Willingness to travel between client homes in the Katherine area
