Aged Care Home & Community Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance including light house cleaning and meal preparation
• Deliver personal care such as showering, daily hygiene, and monitoring health and wellbeing
• Facilitate community access for medical appointments and social activities
• Support clients with daily tasks and routines to maintain independence
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing Support, or a similar qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle with third-party insurance
• Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting the ageing community
• Ability to travel between client homes in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs area
• Note: This position is considered a genuine occupational qualification for female applicants
