Aged Care Home & Community Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance including light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Deliver personal care such as showering and daily hygiene support
• Monitor client health and wellbeing
• Assist with community access to medical appointments and social activities
• Support clients with daily tasks and routines to promote independent living
• Build positive, professional relationships with clients and their families

Requirements

• Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle
• Minimum third-party vehicle insurance
• Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate
• Current Provide CPR (HLTAID009) certificate
• Ability to pass a National Criminal History Record Check and Aged Care Statutory Declaration
• Willingness to travel between client homes across North and South Canberra regions
