AGE Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, and serviceability checks on AGE/FLSE including generators, air conditioners, heaters, and compressors
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, fuel, and pneumatic systems using diagnostic and test equipment
• Test and calibrate repaired items to ensure reliability and adequacy of repair actions
• Prepare and inspect equipment for shipment via air, sea, and surface transportation
• Operate various materials handling equipment as required
• Maintain compliance with USAF/Amentum technical data, safety standards, and quality management systems
• Perform TDY within the Area of Operations as required by taskings

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to comprehend technical data
• Valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain a host nation license
• Physical capability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Ability to work in maintenance shop, warehouse, or outdoor environments and endure extreme noise

Preferred Qualifications

• Training in mechanical and electrical maintenance functions
• At least three years of practical military or civilian experience in ground support equipment operation and maintenance
