The Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (Pozez JCC), located in Fairfax, Virginia, is a nonprofit, social service organization that builds community and enriches lives. The Pozez JCC is a community connector, offering a variety of programs and services based on Jewish values.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the program
• Implementing weekly developmentally appropriate programming
• Coordinating and leading group games and activities
• Verbal communications with parents on a regular basis
• Attending all trainings and staff meetings
• Developing strong relationships with children, parents, staff and the JCCNV community
• Maintaining a neat, safe, and well-decorated HOMEBASE classroom
• Ensuring the program is meeting all Virginia state licensing requirements
• Monitoring children’s behavior using Daily Report Forms
• Recording and maintaining accurate attendance lists
• Facilitating daily activities and providing homework help
