Afterschool and Weekend Children's Sports Coach

Responsibilities

• Leading and instructing sports classes for children in afterschool programs and on weekends
• Creating a positive and engaging environment for children to learn and have fun
• Teaching children the basic skills and rules of different sports
• Encouraging participation and teamwork among the children
• Maintaining order and ensuring the safety of all participants

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Fun, energetic, patient, attentive, and reliable personality
• Passion for sports, fitness, and working with children

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children (teachers, camp counselors, etc.)
• Background in fitness (athletics, dance, gymnastics, kinesiology, etc.)
• Early Childhood Education Units
• Experience working with Parks & Recreation Departments
