Afternoon Shift Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations during the afternoon shift to ensure safe and efficient site activities
• Lead and manage a team of leaders and operators to meet productivity, service, and customer demand targets
• Identify, report, and control all safety risks, hazards, and incidents within the facility
• Allocate labour and resources effectively in alignment with volume requirements and operational priorities
• Ensure on-time performance for picking, packing, and dispatching all orders
• Control site expenditure and support the delivery of budget and productivity outcomes

Requirements

• Several years of experience in logistics and business management environments
• Proven experience leading large operational teams (approximately 25+ direct/indirect reports)
• Strong financial and analytical capability, including exposure to costing and productivity metrics
• Proficiency with warehouse or operational systems (experience with Paperless systems is preferred)
• Solid knowledge of safety systems, risk management, and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to manage resources, labour planning, and operational peaks effectively
