After School Wraparound Club Assistant

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during after-school care sessions from 2:45 PM to 5:00 PM
• Set up and organize engaging activities and ensure equipment is accessible and neat
• Prepare light snacks for the children
• Welcome children into the setting and ensure they are well cared for
• Liaise with parents and carers at the end of sessions
• Clear away equipment and tidy the setting at the end of each session

Requirements

• Experience working with Early Years or Key Stage 1 (KS1) children
• Level 3 or Playworker qualification (or a strong commitment to undertake this training)
• Reliable, punctual, and conscientious approach to work
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• A friendly, approachable, and calm manner
