Agree with Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith, At least 17 years of age, High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred, Passion for working with elementary school-aged children, Able to work Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school year, Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification, Pass mandatory background and sex offender check, Valid driver’s license or ID, Legally authorized to work in the United States, Dependable transportation, Spanish-speaking ability valued

Responsibilities
- Foster youth development in an after-school setting for elementary students
- Lead students in enrichment activities aligned with program Priority Outcomes
- Provide direct supervision and care for assigned groups of students
- Support site leadership and collaborate with After School Area Directors
Requirements
- Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
- At least 17 years of age
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Passion for working with elementary school-aged children
- Able to work Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school year
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification
- Pass mandatory background and sex offender check
- Valid driver’s license or ID and dependable transportation
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Some post-secondary training
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children
- Spanish-speaking ability
