About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support site staff while cultivating a healthy, mission-aligned culture
  • Build trust-based relationships with parents and guardians through clear communication and presence at pick-up
  • Oversee daily operations and facilitate team launch meetings to ensure program excellence
  • Manage escalated student behaviors with wisdom and care, equipping staff with effective response tools
  • Serve as liaison to the Area Director, maintaining strong communication, timely reporting, and goal alignment

Requirements

  • Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
  • At least 17 years of age
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred; post-secondary training highly preferred
  • Passion for working with elementary school-aged children
  • Availability Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., during the school calendar year
  • Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
  • Pass mandatory background and sex offender check
  • Valid driver's license or ID and dependable transportation
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children
  • Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
