After School Site Director

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support after-school staff, onboarding new team members and cultivating healthy culture
• Build trust-based relationships with families through clear communication and presence at pick-up
• Lead daily operations and facilitate team launch meetings to deliver a high-quality after-school experience
• Manage escalated student behaviors with care and equip staff with effective response tools
• Serve as liaison to the Area Director, maintaining communication, reporting, and alignment on goals

Requirements

• Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
• Must be at least 17 years of age
• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred; some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Passion and experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
• Able to work Monday–Friday 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass mandatory background and sex offender check
• Valid driver's license or ID and dependable transportation
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
