After School Site Director

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support staff including onboarding and cultivating team culture
• Engage and support families through clear communication and relationship building
• Ensure program excellence by leading daily operations and facilitating team meetings
• Respond to student needs and manage escalated behaviors with wisdom
• Communicate and collaborate with the Area Director regarding site-level goals

Requirements

• Agreement with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
• At least 17 years of age
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Passion for working with elementary school-aged children
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification
• Ability to pass mandatory background and sex offender checks
• Valid driver's license or valid ID
• Dependable transportation
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary training
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children
• Spanish-speaking ability
