About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support staff including onboarding and culture cultivation
- Engage and support families through clear communication and presence
- Ensure program excellence by leading daily operations and team meetings
- Respond to student needs and manage escalated behaviors
- Communicate and collaborate with the Area Director regarding site goals
Requirements
- Agreement with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
- At least 17 years of age
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Passion for working with elementary school-aged children
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to pass mandatory background and sex offender checks
- Valid driver's license or valid ID
- Dependable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary training
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children
- Spanish-speaking ability
