After School Site Director

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality learning environment and manage activities that extend the school day
• Manage daily program operations and logistics in coordination with Apollo leadership
• Ensure the safety and security of children enrolled
• Supervise all aspects of the site’s before and after-school program
• Build and maintain positive relationships with participants, parents, school staff, and administration
• Maintain accurate records, attendance, and dismissal data
• Assess and solve problems associated with the supervision of PK-8 students

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience working with school-age youth (ages 4-10) in a school or after-school setting
• Minimum 1-year experience in management with at least 5 direct reports
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18+ years of age
• CPR/First Aid certification (in-person training required)
• Ability to stay active, move quickly, and participate in physical activities with children
