After School Robotics Instructor

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging robotics lesson plans using project-based learning
• Lead the championship-winning Robotics team through technical challenges and competition preparation
• Partner with Coding Instructors to finalize robot capabilities for FIRST Robotics
• Provide 1:1 technical support and logical troubleshooting for scholars
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and organized technology lab environment
• Supervise scholars during sessions, meal times, and field trips, including overnight competitions
• Track attendance and maintain accurate program documentation and progress reports

Requirements

• At least 2 years of teaching or career experience in Middle or High School Robotics
• Associates Degree or 60+ college credits in Engineering or a science-related field
• 2 years of experience working with Middle or High School students in after-school or camp settings
• Experience implementing project-based learning lesson plans
• Experience working with diverse academic, cultural, and ethnic populations
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
