About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly after-school Music x Gaming clubs for K-8 students (groups of 5–12)
- Create a positive, structured, and fun environment following our session flow
- Manage attendance, coordinate smooth student dismissal, and communicate with the team via Slack
- Provide feedback on game pacing and classroom flow to help improve the platform
Requirements
- Must be currently connected to a K-8 school community (teacher, admin, staff, librarian, or parent)
- Available at least 1 afternoon per week between 2:00–6:00 pm
- Ability to play a musical instrument
- Experience working with children in a group, classroom, camp, or club setting
- Must pass standard background checks for working with children
- Comfortable with basic technology and classroom management
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or coursework in Music, Music Education, or a related field
- Prior experience as a music instructor, coach, or camp leader
- Experience facilitating small groups using Chromebooks or iPads
- Ability to travel to nearby schools for additional club opportunities
