After School Educator - Theatre & Acting

Responsibilities

• Teach theatre and acting fundamentals to students from TK through 8th grade
• Plan and lead engaging acting exercises, improvisation games, and storytelling activities
• Foster confidence, creativity, communication, and teamwork through theatre-based activities
• Adapt lessons to different ages, experience levels, and learning styles
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
• Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Prepare and organize activity materials while keeping the learning space clean and safe

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
• Authorization to work in the US
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
