After School Club Playworker

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate activities including multi-sports, arts & crafts, and creative play for children aged 4–11
• Supervise and engage children in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive after-school environment
• Set up and tidy activity areas and equipment, and prepare healthy snacks
• Complete accurate sign-in and sign-out procedures
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies at all times
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding childcare experiences

Requirements

• Genuine passion for working with children
• Friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude
• Reliable, organised, and positive approach
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and complete safer recruitment vetting
• Compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in playwork, childcare, sports coaching, teaching assistance, youth work, or performing arts is welcome but not essential
