After School Club Assistant

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support children during after-school activities
• Assist with planning and delivering games, crafts, and educational activities
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children
• Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction
• Provide snacks and maintain a clean, organised environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
• Support children with diverse needs and abilities

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Early Years, Play-work, Teaching Assistant, or equivalent
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to acquire)
• Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to acquire)
• Experience working with children
• Strong communication skills, patience, and flexibility
