About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the primary classroom instructor in facilitating after-school enrichment classes
- Arrive on time (or early) to 1-2 hour shifts at schools and community locations across Boston
- Create memorable experiences and foster a positive class community for children
- Support class terms lasting 6 to 18 weeks
Requirements
- Passion for teaching kids and personal development/learning
- Ability to build positive relationships with students
- Cooperative, supportive, and flexible attitude
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- At least two professional references
- Relevant experience working with children preferred
