After School Assistant Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily student check-in and check-out procedures
• Monitor transitions between activities and ensure proper supervision ratios
• Remain on site until all students have been safely dismissed and picked up
• Support Educators in setting up materials and maintaining clean, safe environments
• Communicate supply needs, attendance issues, or incidents to the Site Coordinator
• Assist with managing snack distribution and cleanup
• Provide additional coverage or supervision as needed
• Uphold safety standards and report any incidents immediately

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Experience working in schools and leading large teams
• Ability and willingness to complete 6 hours of online training (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
• Strong leadership and professionalism skills when working with schools and students
• Passion for education and working with children
• Educational background in education, child development, or a related field is preferred
