AFSIM Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute complex AFSIM-based mission-level scenarios to support analysis of military operations and platform performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and government stakeholders to translate operational requirements into effective AFSIM models.
• Perform post-processing, statistical analysis, and visualization of simulation datasets to derive actionable insights.
• Apply Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) processes to ensure the credibility and reliability of models and results.
• Prepare and deliver technical briefings, reports, and presentations on modeling results to program offices and senior leadership.
• Support the documentation of models, scenarios, methodologies, and findings to facilitate knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field of Study.
• Active Security Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in modeling and simulation or operations analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field.
• 1–3 years of direct AFSIM experience focused on mission-level modeling and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in AFSIM scenario scripting and data post-processing using Python or MATLAB.
• Strong understanding of military platforms, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and CONOPS.
• Experience with J-ACE proficiency or vulnerability/lethality assessments.
