About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain, modify, and install Automated Fueling System Equipment (AFHE) to support US Military Global Readiness & Sustainment.
- Install Industrial Control Systems including PLC panels, VFDs, control wiring, sensors, and HMI screens.
- Troubleshoot automation equipment such as PLC logic, faulty relays, motor controls, and network communication faults.
- Program or modify control systems by creating or editing PLC ladder logic and configuring VFD parameters.
- Manage time and resources to meet demanding schedules and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Coordinate work at customer sites and foster positive relationships with site personnel.
- Perform physical duties including lifting up to 40 lbs and climbing stairs to access heights of 20’ or greater.
- Travel approximately 30% as required.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a NACLC security background check.
- Strong electrical knowledge with proficiency in troubleshooting 3-phase and single-phase AC circuits.
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron).
- Ability to read and interpret control schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and ladder logic.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and process calibrators.
- Understanding of NEC code, NFPA 70e, and mechanical aptitudes like pneumatics or hydraulics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and computer systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current possession of a government CAC.
- Active or previous security clearance.
- Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
