About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain, modify, and install Automated Fueling System Equipment (AFHE) to support US Military readiness.
- Install Industrial Control Systems including PLC panels, VFDs, control wiring, sensors, and HMI screens.
- Troubleshoot automation equipment, including PLC logic, faulty relays, motor controls, and network communication faults.
- Program or modify control systems by creating/editing PLC ladder logic and configuring VFD parameters.
- Manage time and resources to meet demanding schedules and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Coordinate and execute high-quality work at customer sites while fostering positive stakeholder relationships.
- Perform physical duties including lifting up to 40 lbs, climbing stairs to heights of 20' or greater, kneeling, and bending.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to pass a NACLC security background check.
- Strong electrical knowledge with proficiency in troubleshooting 3-phase/single-phase AC and low voltage DC circuits.
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron).
- Ability to read and interpret control schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and ladder logic.
- Proficiency in maintaining industrial network infrastructure (Ethernet, fiber optic, Modbus, TCP/IP).
- Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and process calibrators.
- Understanding of NEC code, NFPA 70e, and mechanical aptitudes (pneumatics/hydraulics).
- Ability to travel approximately 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current possession of a government CAC.
- Active or previous security clearance.
- Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
