About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach Calculus I (MATH 101) in an effective in-person environment that encourages student-faculty interaction
- Create a course syllabus to be provided to students and posted on the Canvas site
- Grade assignments within appropriate time frames and post grades on Canvas
- Hold regular office hours and remain responsive to student needs
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Ability to teach in-person on campus
- Experience with syllabus creation and grading assignments
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field
- Previous experience teaching Mathematics courses at the college level
