About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach the course DES 298: Designing Architectural Spaces for the Fall 2026 semester
- Instruct students on principles and methods for considering human experiences in built environments
- Guide students through critical thinking and problem-solving tasks, including assessing, measuring, and planning prototypes
- Teach technical skills including sketching, model-making, and basic digital design tools
- Manage course administration via the Canvas Learning Management System, including posting syllabi, assignments, and grades
Requirements
- MArch and 2+ years of professional experience, OR a BA, BS, or BArch in Architecture (or a related field) and 4+ years of professional experience
- Ability to use the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting
