Aerospace SCADA Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engage with operational teams to understand SCADA and process requirements
• Review documentation, archive system information, and define upgrade needs
• Write specifications for IT-related components, tooling, and jigs
• Manage suppliers by raising POs, tracking progress, and overseeing technical deliverables
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting activities within factory environments
• Coordinate project actions and ensure corrective work is completed
• Contribute to LBIP methodology and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• SCADA systems experience with industrial control or automation systems
• Background in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Technical specification writing skills for tooling, jigs, or IT components
• Experience in supplier coordination and managing deliverables
• Ability to perform documentation review and analysis
• Capability to support onsite commissioning and troubleshooting
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial IT knowledge including networks and system architecture
• Familiarity with LBIP or structured improvement methodologies
• Background in automation, PLCs, or HMIs
• Experience in process optimisation
• Strong stakeholder management skills
