Aerospace Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect assemblies and detail parts for compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
• Document discrepancies in accordance with established procedures
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to perform assigned quality inspection tasks
• Work from blueprints, quality procedures, manufacturing specifications, and electronic data
• Maintain required documentation and inspection records
• Monitor and support adherence to all safety procedures and company directives
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0–1 year of inspection experience in the manufacturing of aerospace components and assemblies
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments (scales, thickness gauges, micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Understanding of shop mathematics and ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined under U.S. export control regulations
• Willingness to work any shift during training and after completion

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Boeing specifications and blueprints
• Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
