About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing processes and instructions in the MRP system for various aerospace parts
  • Interpret aerospace manufacturing drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements
  • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating labor production times and material costs
  • Audit customer purchase orders for revisions, pricing, quantity, lead times, and special process requirements
  • Create and manage job routings and production plans to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and floor supervisors regarding product configuration and quality
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9000, and ITAR regulations

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in blueprint interpretation, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, and ITAR standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • US Person status (required for ITAR compliance)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to write concise documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of engineering coursework
  • 3+ years of experience specifically in Estimating or Planning within a manufacturing plant
