Aerospace Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of 10-20 engineers, overseeing assignments and career development
• Design, implement, and refine product development, testing, and manufacturing processes
• Lead teams in the development of new aerospace and defense products and solutions
• Oversee project logistics, resource allocation, and budget management
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and senior management
• Ensure processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines
• Collaborate with other team leaders, departments, suppliers, and customers

Requirements

• BS in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related degree
• 10+ years of experience in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering
• 4+ years of leadership or management experience in a technical role
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS CAD design
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
• Strong background in 3D printing, payloads, propulsion, and mechanical systems
• Experience with government contracts, basis of estimates, and proposals
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering
