About the role
Responsibilities
- Define technical specifications for tooling (jigs, gauges, assembly tools)
- Plan and monitor project stages including prototyping, validation, and industrialization
- Coordinate between design offices, suppliers, workshops, and production teams
- Validate tooling compliance with aeronautical standards (EASA, FAA)
- Analyze technical risks regarding ergonomics, precision, and durability
- Supervise testing and setup of tools in workshops or production lines
- Integrate new technologies such as 3D simulation and additive manufacturing
- Lead technical reviews with clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Engineering degree in mechanics, aeronautics, or industrial production
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical project management for aeronautical tooling (Jigs & Tools)
- Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA V5/V6, NX, or SolidWorks)
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods including machining, composites, and metrology
- Professional level proficiency in English
- Expertise in design constraints such as tolerances, materials, and ergonomics
