Aeronautical Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Write and create technical documentation in compliance with technical specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements
• Utilize writing tools such as Word and S1000D to develop content
• Update maintenance documentation as required
• Control and validate technical documentation produced by external entities

Requirements

• Proficiency in technical English is mandatory
• Deep knowledge of structured writing standards, including ATA iSpec 2200, STE-100, S1000D, S2000M, and ATA 100
• Training as a civil or military aircraft mechanic
• Ideally, previous experience in technical writing
• Rigor, autonomy, and strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Mastery of XML environments
• Experience with Arbortext tools
