About the role
Responsibilities
- Design new electrical products (R&T) including batteries, wiring, harnesses, and distribution boxes
- Evaluate and select suppliers for electrical products and materials
- Conduct technical audits and ensure compliance with aeronautical standards (EN 9100, DO-160)
- Design custom electrical harnesses for commercial aircraft, drones, and helicopters
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize assembly and testing processes
- Provide technical support to airlines, including failure analysis and improvement proposals
- Draft technical documentation and expertise reports
Requirements
- Engineering degree (Bac+5) in electrical engineering, aeronautics, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aeronautical electrical systems design
- Deep knowledge of harnesses, wiring, and batteries
- Proficiency in electrical CAD tools such as CATIA Electrical, Capital, or Zuken
- Knowledge of aeronautical standards (DO-160, MIL-STD, EN 9100)
- Experience in supplier management and material qualification
- Ability to analyze electrical diagrams and solve complex technical problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with international client interfacing
- Strong autonomy and rigor in technical environments
