Aeronautical Assembly Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain assembly work instructions according to engineering, product, or process changes
• Ensure documentation complies with specific aeronautical client standards (Boeing, Bombardier, etc.)
• Create high-quality visual and technical content using CATIA, Composer, and PLM/MES systems
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and production engineering to validate new methods
• Communicate, implement, and train operational personnel on changes to work instructions
• Monitor floor execution of new processes and identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Perform process audits to ensure documentation aligns with assembly reality
• Act as a technical liaison between engineering and production to resolve deviations

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in aeronautical assembly processes or advanced manufacturing
• Experience with OEM clients such as Boeing or Bombardier
• Practical knowledge of metalworking processes (CNC machining, sheet metal, metal assembly)
• Proficiency in CATIA (modeling, blueprint reading, interpretation)
• Experience with Composer for visual instruction creation
• Knowledge of GD&T and aeronautical blueprint reading
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
