Aero Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain custom software tools for the Aerodynamics department
• Take full ownership of tasks and projects from concept through to deployment
• Collaborate closely with engineers, aerodynamicists, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements
• Develop and support applications across the full software stack, including databases, backend services, APIs, and user-facing interfaces
• Advocate for software engineering best practices including version control, code reviews, and automated testing
• Lead troubleshooting, optimisation, and enhancement of existing systems

Requirements

• Technical degree in Engineering, Maths, Science or Computer Science
• Proven programming skills using C# and/or Python
• Proven experience working with SQL databases, ideally SQL Server
• Experience delivering software solutions in a technical or engineering environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
