AEM Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create novel code solutions and drive the development of new production code capabilities across teams and functions
• Translate complex technical issues and trends to leadership to drive innovation and strategic decision-making
• Drive the adoption of technical methods in specialized fields in line with modern product development methodologies
• Create durable, reusable software frameworks leveraged across multiple teams
• Influence business, product, and technology teams while managing senior stakeholder relationships
• Champion a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and architecting enterprise-grade websites
• 3+ years of experience in a lead developer role
• Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component development, content architecture, templates, OSGi, Sling Models, and dispatcher configurations
• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM Managed Services
• Proficiency with modern front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design
• Strong knowledge of the Adobe marketing ecosystem (e.g., Marketo, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target)
• Solid understanding of web security, SEO best practices, web accessibility (WCAG 2.x), and performance optimization
• Experience managing developers and collaborating with external implementation partners or agencies
