AEGIS Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic planning, procurement, and integration of Aegis Weapon System equipment for the Aegis Guam System (AGS)
• Lead coordination for integration, testing, and deployment from initial deployment to operational installation configurations
• Manage the AGS Sites Equipment List (SEL) and develop/review Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Coordinate with Program Acquisition Resource Managers, prime contractors, and government agencies for hardware procurement
• Spearhead technical interchange meetings to ensure equipment integration into site facilities
• Conduct risk assessments for hardware and logistics and analyze courses of action for equipment and facility design

Requirements

• US Citizenship with an active Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Direct experience with the Aegis Weapon System
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with collaborative tools like Jira, Confluence, or Teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Prior experience with Weapons Systems Deployment
• Experience with Missile Systems Engineering
• Technical expertise in Fleet operations, systems engineering, or Aegis Qualifications
