A&E Nurse

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients upon arrival and prioritizing care based on severity
• Administering initial treatments and life-saving interventions to stabilize patients
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions
• Assisting the medical team with diagnostic tests and result interpretation
• Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed
• Initiating and maintaining intravenous access
• Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and patient immobilization

Requirements

• NMC Registration (minimum 6 months)
• 6 months of A&E experience within the last 12 months
• Ability to provide 2 clinical references covering the last 3 years of work
• Compliance with DBS and Occupational Health requirements
• Documented proof of Right to Work in the UK
