Advisory Consultant (Social Value)

Responsibilities

• Lead and support social value initiatives across multiple major infrastructure projects
• Create social value action plans, coordinate activities, and deliver impactful initiatives
• Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track performance against social value targets
• Produce client-ready reports using established frameworks to assess project impact
• Manage day-to-day relationships with clients, third-party contractors, and key stakeholders
• Provide expert guidance and best practices to clients to enhance social value delivery
• Support business development and work-winning opportunities, including tender preparation

Requirements

• Proven experience in social value work within a consultancy or client organization
• Strong knowledge of the Public Sector Services Act 2012, PPN 001, and PPN 002
• Experience writing social value tender submissions and supporting proposals
• Demonstrated experience engaging with stakeholders such as social enterprises, charities, and educational organizations
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills, including advanced Excel proficiency
• Excellent communication skills with experience leading and chairing meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with the Social Value Portal TOMs system
• Experience using the THRIVE framework
