Advisor - Safety, Health & Environment

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures for the stadium
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards
• Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures
• Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for staff and contractors
• Manage emergency response planning and coordinate with local authorities
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local Saudi Arabian and international HSE regulations
• Oversee environmental management initiatives, including waste management and sustainability programs
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and performance metrics
• Collaborate with event organizers and stadium management to ensure safety during large gatherings
• Perform regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in large-scale facilities or stadiums
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to stadium operations
• Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning
• Proficiency in HSE software and data management tools
• Familiarity with stadium operations, crowd management, and sports event safety protocols
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• First Aid and CPR certification
