Advisor, Quality Assurance Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a global Quality Engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Define and execute QE strategy aligned with organizational goals, product roadmaps, and technology vision
• Develop and scale automation frameworks across UI, API, mobile, performance, and security testing
• Architect end-to-end CI/CD-integrated automation pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams
• Drive Agile quality practices such as TDD, BDD, shift-left quality, and continuous testing
• Oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to influence design, architecture, and release decisions

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Assurance
• 8-10 years in leadership or management roles
• Proven experience leading large QE teams in Agile/Scaled Agile environments
• Strong expertise in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured)
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, or GitHub Actions
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSM, SAFe, or PMP
• Experience with AI-driven testing or predictive quality insights
• Background in performance engineering and security testing
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
