Advisor - Program Manager - GFD

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale capital asset programs of $400M USD or more from conceptual design through operational qualification.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams consisting of both internal and external professionals to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure project delivery meets defined goals for safety, cost, schedule, and quality assurance.
• Maintain effective communication with GFD leadership, governance teams, and business partners while working from regional distances.
• Facilitate issue resolution and anticipate scope changes to implement solutions with speed and value.
• Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans to ensure compliance for all project personnel and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in capital project delivery within industrial or manufacturing facilities.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to locations outside of your home state or country.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience managing large-scale projects exceeding $100M.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (e.g., Bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, or devices).
• Expertise in GMP manufacturing, LEAN, automation, construction quality, or project controls.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Demonstrated ability to influence organizations and personnel without direct administrative authority.
• Proficiency in a foreign language.
