Advisor, Information Security & Privacy GRC

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer-related security inquiries
• Maintain full ownership of the Customer Assurance queue
• Escalate required exceptions to senior levels
• Drive end-to-end customer-related tickets toward resolution and satisfaction
• Suggest enhancements to standard processes and act as a voice of the customer
• Collaborate with internal functions including IT, HR, Facility, and Legal on security projects
• Handle and facilitate external audit activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of related professional experience, ideally in a technology setting
• Intermediate knowledge of information security and privacy aspects
• Intermediate understanding of Security Standards and Frameworks
• Working knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, EU GDPR, or PCI DSS
• Hands-on experience performing security control assessments
• Strong risk management knowledge
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively across different time zones
• High attention to detail and professional customer-facing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one security certification such as Security+, ISO27001, CISA, CISSP, or CRISC
