About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial triage of cybersecurity incidents and escalate based on severity and impact
  • Capture detailed case notes, timelines, and artifacts to ensure audit-ready records
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports and manage stakeholder communications
  • Assist with playbook execution and user awareness communications
  • Support incident documentation and maintain accurate records within case management systems
  • Partner with operations teams to implement containment actions and improve defenses

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in cybersecurity or incident response
  • Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and case management systems
  • Strong understanding of Incident Response (IR) processes, SOPs, and service levels
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills across SOC and IT operations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines with high data integrity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with ticketing and knowledge management systems
  • Experience performing basic log analysis
