Advisor, Data Science

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced Generative AI systems, including agentic systems and orchestration workflows for multi-step reasoning and automation.
• Develop new methodologies and tools to enable advanced modeling and statistical analysis against petabyte-scale datasets.
• Drive innovation through applied research, experimentation, and rapid prototyping of emerging AI techniques.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex, and ambiguous data science problem areas.
• Partner with business leaders to influence decision-making through deep-dive analysis and actionable insights.
• Set best practices for the use of coding-assist tools and maintain AI-generated code for correctness, security, and scalability.
• Develop software programs and algorithms to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from disparate sources.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing GenAI and agentic systems.
• Strong background in applied research, prototyping, and translating research into scalable solutions.
• Extensive experience working with large-scale datasets using distributed computing frameworks such as Spark or Dask.
• Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end AI/ML solutions using statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, and optimization.
• Ability to lead complex problem areas and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI.
• Hands-on experience with LLM platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, open-source models).
• Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
• Proficiency with vector databases, retrieval systems, and causal inference frameworks.
