About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, service, and maintain a client base of agencies and advertisers to achieve annual sales goals
- Analyze and present market research and advertising proposals to support client activities
- Prospect for new customers using planned sales strategies and tactics
- Assist in developing marketing activities to generate local advertising revenue
- Coordinate with internal departments to manage advertising schedules, account activities, and collections
- Maintain accurate customer records and participate in sales forecasting
- Complete all required documentation for contracts, sales calls, and expense reports
- Work a variable schedule, including nights and weekends as necessary
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in sales or advertising
- Proven sales prospecting and new business development skills
- Ability to perform market research and data analysis
- Strong collaboration and customer experience skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required
